What are peptides and research compounds?
Peptides are short chains of amino acids that serve as signalling molecules in the body. Research compounds are synthetic substances studied in controlled laboratory settings to understand their mechanisms of action. All Nexera products are sold exclusively for research purposes and are not intended for human consumption.
Do I need a prescription to purchase from Nexera?
No prescription is required. Nexera’s products are sold for research purposes only, not for therapeutic or clinical use. By purchasing, you confirm that you are acquiring the compounds for legitimate scientific research and that you comply with all applicable Canadian laws.
Does Nexera ship outside of Canada?
No. Nexera ships exclusively within Canada. We do not process international orders at this time. All transactions are in Canadian dollars (CAD).
How long does shipping take?
Most orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Delivery times vary by method: Standard (3–7 business days), Expedited (2–4 business days), and Xpresspost (1–3 business days). Remote or rural addresses may require additional time. See our Shipping Policy for full details.
How are products packaged and shipped?
All compounds are packaged with care to maintain integrity during transit. Temperature-sensitive compounds are shipped with appropriate insulation and cold packs where required. Packaging is discreet with no external branding that identifies the contents.
Can I return or exchange a product?
Due to the nature of research-grade compounds, all sales are final once shipped. If you received a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos. We will review the case and offer a replacement or store credit where applicable. See our Returns Policy.
Do your products come with Certificates of Analysis (COAs)?
Yes. Every Nexera product is backed by a third-party COA verifying purity and identity. COAs are available on request — contact us with your product name and lot number and we will provide it promptly. Learn more on our COAs page.
How should I store research compounds?
Lyophilized (dry powder) compounds should be stored at -20°C for long-term storage or 2–8°C for short-term use (up to 4 weeks). Reconstituted compounds should be stored at 2–8°C and used within the recommended window. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles and exposure to direct light or humidity.
What payment methods do you accept?
Nexera accepts major credit and debit cards. All payment processing is handled through a secure, encrypted gateway. Nexera does not store full card details.
How do I track my order?
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. Use this number on the carrier’s website to monitor your delivery in real time. If you experience issues tracking your order, contact our support team.
