PROTOCOL GUIDES
The following protocol guides are provided for research reference only. They are not medical recommendations and should only be used by trained researchers in controlled laboratory settings. Always consult published literature and follow institutional safety protocols.
General Research Guidelines
- Reconstitute lyophilized peptides using bacteriostatic water (BAC water) or sterile saline
- Store reconstituted peptides at 2–8°C and use within the manufacturer’s recommended window
- Use appropriate sterile technique at all times — laminar flow hood where required
- Reference the product COA for purity and handling recommendations
Reconstitution Reference
Common reconstitution ratios for lyophilized compounds:
- 1mg vial: Add 1mL sterile water = 1mg/mL (1000mcg/mL)
- 2mg vial: Add 2mL sterile water = 1mg/mL
- 5mg vial: Add 2.5mL sterile water = 2mg/mL
Adjust based on your specific research requirements and the compound’s solubility profile.
Storage Recommendations
- Lyophilized (dry powder): Store at -20°C for long-term; 2–8°C for short-term (up to 4 weeks)
- Reconstituted: Store at 2–8°C; do not refreeze after reconstitution
- Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles
- Keep away from direct light and humidity
